it's in our mind: nothing changes
we drove far beyond the grids of the ancient coast which is haunted by the seeds of deep hopes they woke up this morning, and they'll grow
fade in time
fall asleep
lay your head low and close your eyes they need it, they love it, machines of sleep
there, these are the moments we shared, gone through places we've lost
where no one else will ever reach such motions in time and emotions and tastes but caught by the haunted, not every word is coming right
not all the noises are heard in their right phases
these are the ghosts we fear, these are the ghost we fear,
these are the ghosts we fear - the ones driving along our chariot
these are the ghosts we fear - wheels and chairs, engines and tires windshields and mirrors, driving backwards - these are the ghosts we fear
machines of sleep, mellow and silent, glowing in dotted white lines yeah, machines of sleep
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
You know that point where you have consumed perhaps just a little too much of your chosen intoxicate. That's this album.
Fucking heavy!!! Obstacle of Affliction
